Junka recipe - zunka recipe

Ingredients for junka.
Besan(chickpea flour)- 1 cup,
beaten curd - 1 cup,
green chillies - 3
de seeded and slit onion medium size - 1
salt to taste
Ingredients for tadka(tempering)
3 tsp oil
1 sp mustard, pinch of hing
half tspoon jeera
pinch of haldi
Method for making junka.
Mix salt,besan and beaten curd nicely without any lump.
Finely chop onion into small pieces.
Take a kadai, pour oil and once the oil is heated put mustard, and jeera and hing.
Add the slit gr. chillies and onion and saute nicely till the onion is cooked, add the besan mixture and add haldi.
keep stirring for 5 minutes till the besan smell goes. Remove from fire and garnish with Finely cut coriander leaves.
This can be had with roti,paratha, puris and dosa.
ps to have the consistency slightly thinner, water can be added. The same can be done only with water also if curd is not available.
