Corn vada recipe
This Corn vada recipe is easy to make snack. Kids as well as grownups love it.
You can also serve this corn vada as a starter or aperitif.
It tastes best when hot but it is good at room temperature too.
It is a good one for a picnic basket.
You may serve it at parties as you can make it in advance.
How to make Corn vada
Ingredients for corn vada
fresh Corn - 250 gm
green chilli - 2-3 or as per taste
hara daniya(fresh coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
ginger - a small piece
garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
jira(cumin seeds) - 1/2 tsp
salt- 1/2 tsp or according to taste
kadi patta(curry leaves) - a few
Oil for deep frying.
Making corn vada
1) First mix all the ingredients except curry leaves and grind without adding water.
2) Add some chopped kadi patta and mix well.
3) Heat the oil.Form the ground mixture in small balls lightly (like small pakodas) and deep fry till golden brown.
Serve with tomato ketchup or your favorite chutney.
Isn't it easy to make and it tastes great too.
