Oats Upma Recipe
Oats is one of the top healthy foods. You can add it to your meals in different ways. Here is oats upma recipe for you.
Ingredients for oats upma
Serving for 2
- 1 small cup white oats
- 1 Big onion
- 2 medium sized tomatoes
- 3 green chillies
- curry leaves for seasoning
- Mustard seeds for seasoning
- 2 table spoons of ghee
- Salt to taste.
- two cups of water
Preparation: Fry the oats light brown and keep aside.Making oats upma
- Cut onions , tomatoes and green chillies into small pieces.
- Heat ghee in a pan , put the mustard seeds for seasoning.
- Add onions green chillies and saute till golden brown.
- Add tomatoes and salt. Pour two cups of water and bring to boil.
- Now add the roasted oats and ghee and keep stirring till the mixture becomes thick.
Serve hot with coconut chutney or pickle and curd.
